I am a chemist, cartoonist, fibre artist and enthusiastic science communicator living in Mid-Wales. From illustrations to installations, I love working on new ways to communicate science clearly, and accurately without compromise.
I have a PhD in solid state chemistry, an undergraduate masters in Chemistry with Biochemistry and a teaching qualification. For over 10 years, I taught chemistry at degree level, ran chemistry outreach programs and worked in industry as a materials scientist.
I combine my artistic skills with a technical approach, project management, and evaluation to help you develop your ideas and deliver maximum impact for your work.
I enjoy a variety of fibre crafts and illustrative styles, collected over many years spent creating in my spare time. I love a good puzzle and I bring my collection of knowledge, skills and experiences to each project to help you create maximum impact for your work. If you like my work but don't see exactly what you are looking for, let me know, I have skills not showcased here which may meet your needs and am always interested in learning new things!
